Williams Sound and Pointmaker Announce Launch of New Corporate Identity

Williams Sound and Pointmaker, global manufacturers of wireless communication, video annotation, and presentation technologies, announce the launch of their new brand and corporate identity Williams AV. Accompanying this official announcement are the company's new logo design and new domain name (WilliamsAV.com).

Last year, Williams Sound acquired Pointmaker. Going forward, the combined organization will continue to market its current products, as well as successfully blend audio and video expertise into new and exciting solutions for its customers. The overall organization will be called Williams AV, while its products will be categorized under one of two major product lines -- Williams Sound or Pointmaker.

Says Rob Sheeley, CEO of Williams AV, "With the exciting new direction and product transformation we are leading at Williams Sound and Pointmaker, we needed to create a brand that reflected these changes. The name Williams AV better defines our mission of being a complete AV solution provider and not just an assistive listening and annotation product company. As we launch all of our new products in the next four months, you will begin to see our new vision here at Williams AV and how it will provide exciting new integration opportunities for our dealers and integrators."

Adds Tom Mingo, executive VP of sales and marketing for Williams AV, "Williams Sound and Pointmaker once served very specific market niches. We have worked hard to break through those. We see no constraints now. This is a new organization. This new name and branding definitely poises us for growth and the exciting opportunity to explore new avenues of technology."

Serving professional communication needs worldwide since 1976, Williams AV offers digital, FM, infrared and induction loop wireless audio, as well as video annotation and presentation systems. The company's products are used in an array of commercial applications, including hearing assistance, language interpretation, tour, corporate, education, government, and house of worship. Systems currently include Digi-Wave digital communication, Personal PA FM Listening, SoundPlus infrared, Digi-Loop induction loop, and Pointmaker annotation and presentation systems.
