Kramer Electronics announces Darrin Kimsey has joined the technical support department as a sales support engineer for the central region.

Kimsey comes to Kramer Electronics USA with an extensive background in AV and networking technology and support. Having been in the pro AV industry for over 15 years, he holds InfoComm's CTS certification, is a Microsoft certified system engineer (MCSE) and a Microsoft certified trainer (MCT). In his new role, he will be responsible for supporting the dealer/integrators in the central sales region for Kramer USA. He will provide first hand technical support and technical training, as well as general sales support along with the Kramer US central region sales team consisting of regional sales manager, David Goldsmith, associate sales manager, Zach Bright, and inside sales associate, Michele Cree. Kramer will now have a four-member, full-time dedicated sales and technical support team for the central region.

"We are extremely pleased and also very excited to announce the addition of Darrin Kimsey to the Kramer team," stated Chris Kopin, VP of technology. "Darrin brings a wealth of firsthand experience and knowledge to the position, and he is already well-known and highly respected in the central sales region by all of the dealer/integrators. He is a tremendous addition to our Kramer USA staff."

Prior to joining Kramer, Kimsey worked as a midwest regional application specialist for Extron Electronics, and before that he worked for Automatic Data Processing (ADP) as the lead network administrator and division technical trainer. He has taught at InfoComm, NSCA, and regional dealer shows. Kimsey has also taught highly technical courses in networking principals, as well as several Microsoft certified system engineering tracks for several years at Elgin Community College, in Illinois.

"I am very excited about joining the team at Kramer," Kimsey stated. "Their level of professionalism and support for customers exceeds expectations, and I cannot wait to assist in any way possible. I look forward to putting my experiences into practice."
