Hunter Hayes Looks to Chaos Visual Productions

Hunter Hayes

Hunter Hayes is opening for Carrie Underwood and her Blown Away tour and turned to Chaos Visual Productions to enhance his performance.

The 48th Country Music Awards honored Hunter Hayes with the title as 2012 "New Artist of the Year." He was also nominated for "New Artist of the Year," "Single of the Year" for his song "Wanted," and "Music Video/New Artist of the Year" for "Wanted."

Hayes is signed to Atlantic Records as well as the Universal Music Publishing Group. He has been playing guitar and writing music since age six. He is no stranger to the stage and with a clear picture of what he wanted to do, he relied on Chaos to provide a custom lighting system designed by Nate Alves. The system is comprised of Clay Paky Alpha HPE 300 spots; High End Systems Technospots, DL3, and ShowPixs; Coemar LED Pars; and James Thomas truss. Brian Carico is looking after the gear for Chaos as well as filling the position of lighting director.

John Wiseman, CEO, Chaos comments, "Being able to get in on the ground floor and work directly with an artist who actually knows not only what the lighting board and each light can do but has read the manuals and can program the show is pretty unique, in fact unheard of. Hunter has a vision of the future and we are so proud to be along to support Hunter, Betsy, and Ansel in this wild ride. It is also a pleasure to be working with tour manager, Dan Wise and production manager, Jeff Laughinghouse."
