ESTA Plugfest Returns July 20 - 23

The ESTA Control Protocols Plugfest, the event where manufacturers and developers test their lighting products for network interoperability is scheduled to take place from July 20 to July 23 at the Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott Solana in Westlake, Texas. Both ESTA and non-ESTA members are welcome to attend the 16th version of this event.

Plugfest is a unique opportunity to connect manufacturers' lighting products with those of other manufacturers to test and resolve network compatibility challenges. Attendees bring controllers, intelligent lights, control protocol analyzers, and other network connected components. People attend from around the world to pursue improving their customers' product experience.

The scheduled hours are 9:00am - 11:00pm Friday through Monday. Members of the E1.11 (DMX512A), E1.20 (RDM), E1.31 (sACN), and E1.33 (RDMnet) task groups who helped to author the standards will be available to answer questions and help explain the protocols.

This is a chance to take advantage of the knowledge and experience of the Control Protocols Working Group -- one of the ESTA Technical Standards Program's largest working groups. ESTA invites the industry to drop in and experience Plugfest.
