Elation Expands PARAGON Series with PARAGON LTElation expands its award-winning PARAGON Series with the new PARAGON LT, a long-throw LED profile luminaire purpose-built to deliver high-impact visuals for large productions and stadium shows. "The PARAGON LT is the result of listening closely to the needs of designers working at the highest levels of live production and on the biggest shows," says Matthias Hinrichs, product manager. "With its massive output, tight beam, and all the cutting-edge technology that PARAGON has quickly developed a reputation for, it delivers the power and flexibility they need to create stand-out moments in high-profile environments." At the heart of the PARAGON LT is a 1,300W variable CRI white LED engine delivering an intense, high-quality output of up to 52,000 lumens. It also features a 8" front lens and a fast zoom range from 3.7 degrees to 48 degrees. As part of the broader PARAGON family -- winner of the 2024 LDI Best Debuting Product Award and 2025 ABTT Lighting Product of the Year Award -- the LT model shares the same DNA that has redefined expectations in the lighting industry. Central to that is Elation's proprietary TruTone system, a variable CRI control that allows seamless adjustment from CRI 70 to CRI 93. "TruTone is about flexibility and lighting precision," Hinrichs says. "With PARAGON, you can have a high-output effect light and a high-CRI key light in the same show -- without switching fixtures. The PARAGON LT offers that versatility and level of accuracy, now for the largest stages." The unit's effects suite includes three gobo wheels (two rotating, one fixed), a full animation wheel, overlapping dual prisms, dual frosts, and a high-speed iris. Its indexable full-blackout framing system provides exacting beam shaping and detailed shutter cuts, the company says. The PARAGON features Elation's fastest and quietest CMY color mixing system to date, combined with a variable linear CTO, offering smooth transitions, deep color control, and exacting visuals. Elation's SpectraColor color mixing system -- made popular in the ARTISTE series of LED moving heads -- is available as an option. SpectraColor uses a CMY + RGB color mixing array in combination with the variable CTO. PARAGON utilizes Elation's advanced Ultra Dimming system, which, the company says, allows precise low-level control and operates at a refresh rate of 25,000Hz. "This unique feature enables seamless intensity transitions even at the lowest dimming levels and slowest crossfades, while maintaining optimum refresh rates to avoid camera scrolling, issues with phone image capture, and other unwanted interference," the company says. Designed for multi-role applications, the PARAGON's profile lens can be swapped for a Fresnel wash or PC beam lens. PARAGON provides several low-noise modes that minimize distractions for quieter operation. A specialized Theater Mode further reduces sound by slowing specific motors to decrease audibility and resonance. This mode can be remotely activated via the control channel, allowing the fixture to adapt to specific situations. The PARAGON LT is built to endure inclement weather and withstand the rigors of tough show schedules. With an IP54 weatherproof rating, it offers protection against water and dust ingress and is ready to perform reliably both indoors and in temporary outdoor settings. Its advanced HEPA filtration system protects internal components while maintaining cooling efficiency. PARAGON comes with extended warranty coverage, which includes protection for the first three years of operation and a five-year warranty on the LED array.
