Robe at PLASA 2025 - The Preview

Visit Robe at PLASA Show 2025, Stand A70. All of Robe's businesses will be located adjacently: Avolites on Stand C28 and Anolis, Artistic Licence, and LSC on Stand A76.

Robe will have a big presence at the PLASA London expo in Olympia next week, on Stand A70, and will launch six new products: T3 Profile, iPAINTE LTM, SVOPATT Classic, Footsie1 MC and Footsie2 MC, and the PowerDolly.

These will be available in one of the demo theatres for interested parties to see up close and to receive detailed demonstrations.

A new expo cycle live performance concept show, Excalibur, will also be premiered. This will feature a gravity-defying performance from acrobat Oskar Skrypko plus surprise guests.

Produced by Robe's in-house creative team, Excalibur will riff on Arthurian legends, complete with the "lights of the round table" and the magical sword.

The show lighting design will involve over 300 fixtures chosen from current product lines, including SVB1, SVOPATT, iESPRITE LTL, iFORTE LTX, PAINTE Fresnel, WTF!, LedPOINTE, T15 Fresnel, iT12, iBOLT, and Footsie, as well as RoboSpot. Excalibur will play five times a day throughout the three-day expo, with the first show of the day starting at 11am.

All of Robe's businesses will be located adjacently: Avolites on Stand C28 and Anolis, Artistic Licence, and LSC on Stand A76.

As in previous years, Robe will feature two public demo areas where customers can see and examine the new products first-hand, together with popular favorites. Products here will include iESPRITE LTL, iFORTE LTX, LedPOINTE, T.5 Profile, T1, T32 Cyc, WTF!, Footsie 1, iBeam 350, iBOLT, iT12, RoboSpot, iSpiiderX, SVB1, SVOPATT, T11 Profile, and T15 Fresnel.

There will also be a private area, by invitation only, for seeing potential future technologies.

Robe's WTF! strobe unit will be on display in PLASA's Innovation Gallery, where it is one of the contenders for an award.

Built for all environments, WTF! delivers strobe, wash, and blinder effects. Among its features are three rapid motorized zooms, including a unique linear zoom for the central white LED strobe, and continuous pan and tilt rotational control. The unit employs seventy-two 20W linear white LEDs and sixteen 60W RGBW LEDs.

Avolites will focus on its just-launched range of D-Series control consoles, the D3, in a family of five packages. The D3 family is developed for a world constantly on the move, the company says, underlining a new and innovative approach. The D3-010, D3-110, D3 Wing, D3 Core and D3 Touch are powered by Avolites' Titan software. Thirty-minute on-stand "Intro to D3 Range" training sessions will run twice daily.

Avo will also demonstrate its D9 and D7 lighting consoles and its T Range -- comprising T1, T2 and T3 and the T3-Wing, and its Q-Series media servers running both Prism and Ai software platforms.

Robe's architectural sister company, Anolis, will highlight two new product lines.

First is the Appoli S MC, a compact fixture available in both Anolis and Robe editions. Designed for maximum versatility, it is billed as delivering a rich, even light output and can be tailored more precisely with different beam angles and color options.

The Robe edition is geared to live events and entertainment environments, while the Anolis version is optimized for outdoor and architectural applications.

Offered in four lengths, the Lamari linear system is just 43mm wide, making it suitable for discreet installations. The company adds that it is rugged, with flexible mounting options.

LSC Control Systems will showcase the APSX and GENX dimming and power distribution solutions, which now feature enhanced Ethernet connectivity.

The company will also preview the upcoming WPX wall plate range, designed for seamless playback and control of the Mantra Mini and APSX systems. Featuring a 4.9" capacitive touch screen and customizable surrounds, the WPX provides intuitive, wall-mounted control for fixed installations.

Visitors will also get a first look at the latest additions to the NEXEN Ethernet gateway range.

Lighting control and integration manufacturer Artistic Licence will debut its cueLumen Series, which, the company says, reimagines architectural and entertainment lighting control with an emphasis on openness, simplicity, and user empowerment.

Engineered for flexibility and ease of use, cueLumen gives venue owners, facility managers, and integrators full control without proprietary software, costly licences, or ongoing commissioning services.

The artPlay 10" touch screen, a new eight-button user interface, and the range of cueLumen modules will also be on display and available for hands-on demonstration.

The PLASA Show runs September 7-9 at Olympia, London.
