MEGA-LITE Launches the Total Control Server

The unit includes four built-in universe outputs and can be expanded to control up to 24 universes.

The most recent addition to MEGA-LITE's Total Control family has arrived: the Total Control Server. Designed and manufactured as a compact, all-in-one lighting processor, it features embedded DMX, Art-Net, and ACN functionality. The unit includes four built-in universe outputs and can be expanded to control up to 24 universes.

The server operates on the EnlightenARC operating system, offering scheduling, direct operation, the programming and effects tools found in Enlighten for fixture discovery and control. It includes DMX fault detection on its four primary outputs and supports up to 32 wall controllers per link, or up to 96 when used with an optional splitter. With web-based remote access, the server can be added to a network and managed from any location through secure, password-protected ACN integration. The system can also control external devices over a network, helping users manage multiple elements from a single platform.

Additional features include HD video output, a secondary HDMI port for media playback, a failsafe emergency backup scene, and the ability to schedule lighting events based on time. The Total Control Server provides 2048 DMX channels onboard and can be expanded through Art-Net using additional nodes as needed.

The Total Control Server is well suited for environments where multiple fixtures must be controlled from a single device with consistent performance. It supports static lighting, moving fixtures, and any equipment operating through ACN or DMX.

In the architectural field, the system can be applied to multi-room installations, offering several control options through wall button controllers. It is also suitable for lighting monuments, outdoor facades, and building exteriors. In venues and restaurants, it can manage programmed looks for different times of day or special events. For tradeshow booths, the Total Control Server provides complete lighting control while occupying only a 10" 1U rack space.
