Helen Hayes Nominations Announced The nominations are in for the Helen Hayes Awards, which honor achievement in the Washington, DC, area professional theatre scene. The awards break down into two broad categories: Helen, for productions with no more than three Equity actors or with Equity actors making up less than 51% of the cast, and Hayes, for productions employing too many Equity actors to qualify for the Helen group.
