Elation announces the launch of the new KL BATTEN, the latest addition to its KL Series. The KL BATTEN is said to advance linear lighting with powerful output and color quality in a rugged, weather-ready design.

The KL BATTEN is designed for stage, broadcast, and outdoor environments, and engineered to simplify setup.

A 100W RGBMA system delivers smooth, natural light with high CRI (>94) for camera-ready color. The full-spectrum engine combines with customized optics to produce rich, balanced color that looks as true on camera as it does to the eye. The homogenized beam ensures clean, consistent blending across cycs, sets, walls, and scenic elements -- making it well-suited for broadcast studios, theaters, and house of worship livestreams.

For a more cohesive rig -- whether building a new system, upgrading, or expanding an existing one -- the KL BATTEN fixtures integrate seamlessly with the wider KL Series to maintain consistent, high-quality color throughout any space, the company says.

Fine-tune every look with green/magenta shift, a virtual gel library, and 2,400K-8,500K color correction for precise white-light tuning. CMY emulation mode supports familiar programming styles, while a dim-to-warm function emulates classic incandescent warmth.

Available in three high-performance models, the KL BATTEN is said to deliver exceptional output for its size. Two integrated accessory slots accommodate lenses and accessories, and each fixture ships with a glare shield and border light filter for added versatility.

Individual pixel control enables designers to create everything from subtle color shifts and fades to complex pixel-mapped effects. Smooth 16-bit dimming curves and a high-speed electronic shutter/strobe provide nuance and impact for dynamic visual designs, the company says.

All KL BATTEN fixtures feature integrated L-Track for simple mounting, while end-to-end magnetic alignment ensures precise spacing for clean, continuous linear runs. Comprehensive connectivity includes DMX, Art-Net, sACN, and RDM, along with NFC configuration and Aria X2 wireless DMX for fast setup and reliable wireless control.

A durable, IP65-rated housing protects against dust and water for dependable indoor and outdoor operation, while quiet performance keeps the focus on the production, making KL BATTEN well-suited for studios, theatres, and live broadcasts.
