CHAUVET Professional Launches COLORado PXL Curve 1

The unit "can be used to create anything from subtle fades to high-impact bursts," the company says.

Offering the features that have made the COLORado PXL Curve 12 a popular item, CHAUVET Professional's COLORado PXL Curve 1, an RGBW LED beam-wash rectangular unit, also features dual linear warm white and cool white LED strobe cells (160 SMD LEDs in CW/WW) with eight zones of control that frame its single pod.

Designed for all weather conditions and billed as being easy to scale to any size with other fixtures in the COLORado series, the product's programming language matches that of the PXL Curve 12. A slotted Omega bracket makes it easy to hang the fixture on a truss.

The unit offers 60-degree pan movement and 200 degrees of tilt, along with its wide zoom range. In terms of output, it provides up to 14,000 lux at 5m. Flexible DMX, sACN, and Art-Net control, along with RDM and NFC support, make it easy to incorporate into any rig.

In a statement, the company says the unit "can be used to create anything from subtle fades to high-impact bursts, as well as clean linear chases, paparazzi-style hits, and layered rhythmic looks. Also, its adjustable speed and delays make the fixture ideal for trailing effects and custom sequences that fit the mood of any show."
