Behind the Scenes Joins Experience Makers Lab Programming

Experience Makers Lab has announced that Behind the Scenes, the charity serving entertainment technology professionals and their immediate families, will participate in the event's inaugural program. The organization provides industry professionals with Basic Needs Grants for those unable to work due to serious illness or injury, Counseling Grants that can be used for therapy or rehabilitation, Natural Disaster Grants that can be used for immediate expenses in the wake of a natural disaster, and a broader Mental Health Initiative offering tools and resources for entertainment industry workers and their families.

Representing the organization onsite will be Emily Drew, managing director, who will present an overview of the charity's work and discuss ways attendees can help extend awareness and support across the live entertainment community.

The inclusion of Behind the Scenes adds a service-oriented dimension to the event's programming, aligning conversations around creative leadership, production realities, and career sustainability with industry wellbeing. Experience Makers Lab is designed as a curated gathering of designers, production professionals, and creative decision-makers, and organizers say Behind the Scenes' participation reflects a broader commitment to supporting not only the work, but also the people behind it.

Behind the Scenes also operates programs that help companies and individuals support the charity through ongoing fundraising and cause-related initiatives, including Ghostlight Groups, Pledge-a-Product, and Pledge-a-Service programs.
