M&W Pro Audio Announce the D24 and D32 Digital Mixers

(l-r) The M&W Pro Audio D24 and D32 Digital Mixers

M&W Pro Audio, a new company founded by industry veterans Greg Mackie and Peter Watts, introduces the D24 and D32 Digital Mixers. Designed for live sound reinforcement, the D24 and D32 employ large touch screens that enhance operational ease, ergonomics, and access to important information in the channel strip. These new mixers will be on display during the forthcoming InfoComm show, Booth #N6464. InfoComm 2026 will take place June 13-19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Touch-screen based faders enable both mixers to offer features that are not possible in conventional small-screen digital mixers. Each mixer offers over 100 unique screens with an intuitive interface that facilitates unrivaled creativity. Each D24 and D32 fader strip displays ten important channel parameters. Pop-ups enable adjustments of Input Gain, Low Cut, Polarity, Headphone level, fader color-coding, fader groups and more -- without leaving the home mixing screen. Further, each mixer includes a 12-function foot pedal.

The D32 incorporates 32 mic/line preamps with Watts' new Lyric shielded preamp design. The D24 has 24 Lyric preamps. A ten-channel Simple mixer mode is designed for new church volunteers, conference operators, and others. Tablet mixing is browser-based requiring no additional software. The D24 and D32's touch screens enhance faster access to control, easier monitoring, simplification of training, and superior overall operation. Both mixers' control surfaces feature a new wear-free coating guaranteed to last the life of the mixer. These mixers also include an extensive, illustrated on-screen manual.

The M&W Pro Audio D24 provides thirteen 70mm touch-sensitive electronic faders, twenty-four Lyric preamps by Watts, and each channel strip displays ten important parameters. Similarly, the D32 provides seventeen 100mm touch-sensitive electronic faders, thirty-two Lyric preamps by Watts, and like the D24, each channel strip displays ten important parameters. Both mixers enable the user to create custom screens with just the faders one happens to be using. Additionally, both mixers offer an integrated subwoofer crossover with selectable slope and roll-off.

Among the various features that make the D24 and D32 unique, the intuitive interface found on these units make navigation easy with over 100 screens. Users will also appreciate the color-coded faders and the fact that the Main left and right faders are visible on all screens. Additionally, these mixers provide an overview screen that shows every fader in the mixing system. Along with a pop-up for Gain, Low Cut, Polarity, and Anti-Clip, the D24 and D32 enable creativity at every step of the mixing process. It should also be noted that the D32 digital mixer features an innovative detachable stage box for easy connectivity.

Both Mackie (strategist/designer), and Watts (digital engineer/programmer) are enthusiastic about their new company and offered the following thoughts. "I still mix bands at a local venue," Mackie reports, "so I've never stopped gathering ideas about how to make live mixing easier. The D24 and D32 are the culmination of decades of sound experience -- and four solid years of translating my ideas into a more intuitive, simpler workflow. Their electronic control surfaces provide opportunities that are simply not possible with physical faders. The M&W Pro Audio lineup is the evolution of pro audio."

Watts , "I am excited to rejoin Greg as his partner in this promising new venture. It has given me a chance to unveil a microphone preamp design that I feel is a step above any currently incorporated in other mixers. I also believe that our collaboration on the D24 and D32 GUI and workflow will define the standard for ease of use."

The M&W Pro Audio D24 and D32 digital mixers are expected to become available in late fall 2026. For additional information about the M&W Pro Audio D24 and D32 digital mixers, visit the link below.
