InfoComm Wraps Up 2026 Show

InfoComm 2026, held June 13-19 in Las Vegas, Nevada, brought together the global pro AV industry for a week of innovation, education, networking, and business development. The show welcomed 28,132 verified attendees from 94 countries, with international attendance representing 20% of attendees, and end users representing 37%. Total registrants totaled 35,707.

The show hosted 807 exhibitors and 395,500 net sq. ft. of show floor space across the Las Vegas Convention Center.

"This year's InfoComm was the most interactive and engaging event we've ever produced," says Jenn Heinold, senior vice president, expositions, Americas, AVIXA, producer of InfoComm. "From keynotes with live demos and hands-on learning to immersive activations like Smart Workplace, The Pitch, Retail Experience, and AVIXA TV, attendees weren't just hearing about the future of AV, IT, broadcast, and AI. They experienced it firsthand."

Artificial intelligence emerged as a defining theme throughout the event, spanning keynote presentations, education sessions, show floor experiences, and exhibitor demonstrations. Attendees explored how AI is being applied to workplace collaboration, content creation, customer engagement, enterprise communications, and operational efficiency.

The show featured several immersive show floor activations that brought these trends to life:

Among them, The Pitch, powered by Diversified, showcased the convergence of sports, broadcast, live events, and fan engagement technologies through a dynamic environment featuring production workflows, collaboration spaces, premium hospitality experiences, and interactive audience engagement.

Also, AVIXA TV transformed the show floor into a working broadcast studio, showcasing live production workflows, content creation, and industry conversations while providing attendees with a hands-on look at the technologies and techniques driving today's broadcast and media environments.

In Wednesday's opening keynote, Ilya Bukshteyn, corporate vice president for Microsoft Teams calling, meetings, and devices, outlined Microsoft's vision for AI-powered communication and collaboration. In Thursday's keynote, Espen Loberg, vice president and general manager, collaboration devices at Cisco, shared the company's vision for Connected Intelligence, where AI-powered collaboration technologies seamlessly connect people, places, and purpose. The AVIXA Women's Breakfast drew hundreds of attendees and featured keynote speaker Mariana Atencio, Peabody Award-winning journalist, entrepreneur, and bestselling author.

InfoComm 2026 introduced its first-ever Media Day, providing attending journalists and analysts with curated tours of major announcements and innovations across the show floor.

The show's education program featured over 300 sessions. Highlights included the new AI Accelerator, Vision Stage programming, Spotlight Stage presentations, and expert-led discussions exploring the future of the industry.

Throughout the week, attendees participated in networking events, certification exams, community gatherings, and industry discussions designed to foster collaboration and accelerate innovation across the AV ecosystem.

Several attendees took the Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) and Audiovisual Network Professional (ANP) exams. A total of 129 attendees earned their CTS at the show - 74 earned their CTS, 24 attained CTS-D (Design), and 13 attained CTS-I (Installation). The total number of CTS holders is now over 15,800. In addition, 18 attendees earned their Audiovisual Network Professional (ANP) certification, bringing the total number of ANP certification holders to 389.

You can catch up on the highlights from InfoComm 2026 on AVIXA TV.

InfoComm 2027 will take place in Orlando, Florida, from June 12-18.
