The Nano Series from DuraBrite Lights Wins Innovative Red Dot Design Award

The Red Dot Jury chooses each winner, and stated about the Nano series, "This compact spotlight successfully integrates sophisticated technology with a contemporary, appealing language of form."

DuraBrite Lights, a New York-based manufacturer of commercial-grade lighting systems, announces its Red Dot Design Award recognition and corresponding Red Dot Label. This recognition, earned for the company's Nano series spotlight, marks an important development in its approach to innovative design and ambitious drive to bring the most comprehensive solutions to the market, the company says.

"DuraBrite is pleased to accept this award as yet another recognition of its commitment to superior optics, aesthetics, and overall innovative technology in lighting design," states DuraBrite president Michael Morris, "We are proud of the engineering and manufacturing that comes to life in the Nano series, one of our most comprehensive solutions yet."

The Red Dot Design Award is among the world's largest design competitions, and the Red Dot Label has been established internationally as one of the most sought-after marks of quality for superior design. Given to market-ready products manufactured industrially, the Red Dot Award for product design is based on aesthetics, functionality, innovation, and smart construction.

The Red Dot Jury chooses each winner, and stated about the Nano series, "This compact spotlight successfully integrates sophisticated technology with a contemporary, appealing language of form."

The Nano series is known for delivering high output from a small and aesthetically pleasing profile. The product produces up to 7,500 lumens and is dimmable with a current of only 1.7 A at 24 V. If required, several spotlights can be combined to form a light bar using a proprietary connection piece. To support a wide variety of applications, Nano utilizes aerospace-grade materials, structures, and electronics, and its IP67 housing allows operation at from 55 to -40 °C.

The IP68 rated cable gland is custom designed to give a small form factor that will allow unrestricted body rotation to point the light at precise angles, whether specified in an upright mount, wall mount, or ceiling mount.
