ADJ Launches Vizi Xtreme

Weighing 15.4lb and standing at 14.34" high, the Vizi Xtreme is well-suited for a wide range of professional lighting applications, including concert tours, club installations, broadcast environments, and event production.

ADJ's Vizi Xtreme moving head is now shipping. Designed to deliver high-impact visuals from an exceptionally compact fixture, the product combines lime-infused color mixing, an LED ring, and fast 360-degree pan/tilt movement to create beam and wash effects.

Engineered for speed and creative flexibility, the Vizi Xtreme features four 60W RGBL LEDs that are said to deliver vibrant color mixing and intense output. Each LED is individually controllable, enabling pixel-based animations and bold visual effects that add depth and motion to lighting designs. The fixture's advanced color system incorporates a lime LED element, allowing for a wider color palette, beautifully saturated hues, and crisp pastels, as well as variable white light with a color temperature range from 2,700K to 10,000K.

Adding an extra layer of visual interest, the face of the fixture is surrounded by a ring of forty-eight 0.5W RGBW LEDs arranged into six independently controllable zones. This halo-style LED ring can be used to generate subtle ambience, flowing chases, or high-energy eye-candy effects that complement the powerful primary output.

Despite its small footprint, the Vizi Xtreme is designed for large-scale visual impact. A motorized zoom system allows the fixture to transition seamlessly from a narrow 3-degree beam to a broad 45-degree wash, while ultra-fast 3-phase motors deliver rapid and precise movement. Optional 360-degree continuous pan and tilt functionality unlocks even more dynamic possibilities, allowing designers to create dramatic motion effects and fluid aerial patterns.

"The Vizi Xtreme is a perfect example of how far moving head technology has come," comments Alfred Gonzales, ADJ USA's director of sales. "It's incredibly compact and lightweight, but the output and feature set rival larger fixtures. The combination of individual pixel control, continuous pan and tilt movement, and the additional LED ring gives lighting designers a huge amount of creative freedom. It's a fixture that can deliver both powerful beam looks and intricate, animated effects from a very small footprint."

Weighing 15.4lb and standing at 14.34" high, the Vizi Xtreme is well-suited for a wide range of professional lighting applications, including concert tours, club installations, broadcast environments, and event production. Its lightweight design also makes it well suited for dense arrays on trusses and rigs where space and weight are at a premium.

The fixture is built for professional control environments and offers a comprehensive connectivity suite, including DMX with RDM, Art-Net, and sACN. In addition to 5-pin DMX and RJ45 connections for wired control, it features integrated Aria X2 wireless technology, enabling cable-free DMX operation as well as wireless device management with over-the-air firmware updates and NFC configuration. On board setup and addressing are handled via a full-color, 180-degree reversible LCD display with a six-button touch control interface on the base of the unit.

The Vizi Xtreme is available now from ADJ USA and will begin shipping from ADJ Europe at the end of August.
