Avolites has announced Peyre Emmanuel as the winner of its Golden Console competition, drawn live at PLASA London by Josef Valchar, CEO of Robe Lighting.

The competition, which ran from February 1 to August 31 as part of Avolites' Avo50 50th anniversary celebrations, offered entrants worldwide the chance to win a unique anniversary console and an exclusive 24-carat gold-plated D3-010, the only one in existence.

In total, 854 people entered the competition, registering via the Avolites competition portal and collecting Golden Tokens by completing a range of Avolites activities over the seven months. These ranged from attending official Avo50 events and completing in-person or online Avolites Academy training to taking part in monthly hidden challenges and SoMe posting using the #Avo50 hashtag.

Peyre could not attend PLASA London in person; however, Avolites will be arranging delivery of the console.

"The competition has been a brilliant way to mark our 50th year, not just because of the console itself, but because of everyone who took part in it," says Jon Hole, Avolites product and marketing manager. "Over eight months, we've seen the Avolites community show up in every sense, from training sessions to shows on the road, and it's been a genuine pleasure watching the leaderboard take shape. Congratulations to Peyre and thank you to everyone around the world who made Avo50 what it's been this year."

The Golden Console draw was part of a wider Avo50 presence at PLASA London, which also included hands-on demonstrations across the full Avolites console range, training sessions on Titan and Prism -- the first training since the launch of Prism--- and the Avo50 Party, held at The Latymers to mark 50 years as a lighting and visual control brand.

Avolites will continue its 50th anniversary celebrations through the rest of the year, with the next major show appearance being at LDI in Las Vegas in December.
