dBTechnologies USA Partners SK Mac in Metro New York and Mid-Atlantic dBTechnologies USA has appointed SK Mac as its manufacturer's representative firm for the Metro New York and Mid-Atlantic territories. Established in 1926 by Samuel King Macdonald, SK Mac has served the region's professional audio industry for a century. The company began representing Shure in 1931 and celebrates its 95th year with the manufacturer in 2026. The appointment follows a strategic review of SK Mac's professional audio portfolio and places dBTechnologies within a focused group of manufacturers represented across both territories. Since 2018, SK Mac has also provided professional services including loudspeaker-system design and room tuning, DSP and control-system programming, RF scanning and coordination, room commissioning, and lighting design and programming. Its market-development work extends across commercial AV, education, production and government, where the firm maintains relationships with a broad range of federal departments, military organizations and cultural institutions.
