Clair Global Integration Appoints Key Hires in Central Florida

(l-r) Robert Batten and Thursby Pierce

Clair Global Integration onboards Thursby Pierce as senior account executive and Robert Batten as project manager to add to their presence in Central Florida.

Batten and Pierce will aid in the implementation of company goals while adhering to important deadlines and budget requirements. Both will assist in helping Clair Global Integration (CGI) grow their business in themed attraction, immersive experience, museum, and entertainment attractions.

CGI senior design engineer, Ed Sullivan, comments on the new additions: "Clair Global Integration is committed to building an industry-leading team in Central Florida, to serve not just themed entertainment but all AV markets. Bringing in Thursby as account executive and Robert as project manager is the first step in assembling that team."

With an extensive background in the audiovisual industry, Batten's experience began at the age of ten, when he assisted his father setting up professional sound systems, and later, becoming a musician. By 18, he had performed multiple installations for audio, video, and lighting systems for both live and permanent venues across South Florida. Batten's early experiences led to a professional career in the industry, with a multitude of positions, including installation technician, design engineer, project manager, technical director, and business owner.

With 34 years of expertise, Batten has worked with a wide range of live, permanent and studio audio, video, lighting and control systems. He joins Clair Global Integration as a project manager to assist in establishing the Orlando location.

Also well-versed in the industry, Pierce joins with over 30 years of themed attraction, multimedia entertainment, technical show, and project management experience. He began his career as a front of house/monitor engineer and production/stage manager for performers touring North America, Europe, and Asia.

As part of the Universal Studios Creative Technical Team, he gained experience in design, installation, and the commissioning of audio, video, projection, laser, and lighting systems for some of the most cutting-edge theme park attractions in the world.

Sullivan is excited to welcome the new recruits, concluding: "With their help and Clair's three-decade track record in the industry, we'll attract the best of the best, offering the support and freedom to take AV engineering and innovation to the next level."
