DAS Audio Hits the Road

DAS Audio announces that its ARA Series is marking a significant step forward in live audio innovation for the company. With the 2025 ARA Road Show, DAS Audio is bringing its most advanced complete series -- LARA, MARA, and SARA -- directly to the engineers, integrators, and production teams shaping the industry. More than just a product demo, the road show offers an immersive, hands-on experience where attendees can hear, test, and engage with the technology alongside the experts who know the brand best.

Designed for touring, festivals, arenas, and large-scale installations, the ARA Series is a complete system built for power, precision, and control:

LARA is a powerful four-way symmetrical, cardioid, self-amplified 2-by-12" line array system delivering a peak output of 150dB maximum SPL, designed for large-scale events. With its advanced cardioid design achieving -15dB rear attenuation and precision-engineered transducers, LARA is said to ensure exceptional clarity, efficiency, and controlled low-frequency dispersion for unparalleled sound performance. LARA-SUB accompanies this system, a cardioid high performance dual 18" subwoofer.

MARA is a self-powered, cardioid, and symmetrical 2-by-10" line array system delivering a maximum SPL of 148dB, designed for medium to large-scale events. Featuring a wide horizontal dispersion, -12dB rear attenuation, and precision-engineered transducers, MARA is said to ensure exceptional clarity, efficiency, and controlled low-frequency response for superior sound performance. MARA-SUB can be used with this system, a single 21" cardioid subwoofer with a MAX SPL of 141dB.

SARA is billed as a compact yet powerful 2-by-8" line array designed for events and medium-sized installations that demand pristine sound quality and uniform coverage. With a maximum SPL of 142dB, and an innovative three-point rigging system for flexible deployment, SARA delivers efficiency, precision, and seamless integration for any professional audio setup. It can be deployed with SARA-SUB, a powerful 1-by-18" cardioid subwoofer made to be stacked or flown with SARA.

Also available for demo: ARA Point Source Speakers (ARA-P28 and ARA-P12) for precise, controlled coverage and fills as well as the ARA-M210 Stage Monitor, a dual 10" monitor with a maximum SPL of 143dB ensuring ample volume and clarity for live performance settings.

At the core of the system is ALMA, DAS Audio's next-generation control and management software, allowing engineers to monitor, tune, and optimize their setup in real time with AI-driven precision.
