ADJ Launches Inno Pocket Beam Q4

ADJ's Inno Pocket Beam Q4

The release of the new Inno Pocket Beam Q4 sees ADJ bolstering its successful Inno Pocket range of affordable, portable fixtures. Sitting alongside the Inno Pocket Spot, Wash, Twins, Fusion, Scan and Roll, the Inno Pocket Beam Q4 is a compact moving head that produces mid-air beam effects.

Powered by a 15W quad-LED source and utilizing a tight 4-degree beam angle, the Inno Pocket Beam Q4 lets users fill venues with concise beam effects. Thanks to its quad-color (RGBA) LED source, the fixture boasts smooth color mixing, for a professional result with no shadows, and the beam color can be tailored to suit the demands of any client or the needs of any event.

Mobile DJs, club or bar owners, and stage performers can all benefit from the Inno Pocket Beam Q4's combination of power and color, which lets them project mid-air effects above a crowd or down onto a dance-floor. Combining these color beams with fog or haze will produce the perfect party atmosphere for everything from corporate events, weddings, children's parties, and high school proms to clubs, bars, and EDM events. With the unit's smooth 16-bit 540-degree pan and 230-degree tilt providing speedy, flexible movement, stage productions and entertainment complexes can also be enhanced by the eye-catching and venue-filling color beam effects. Like the other ADJ Inno Pocket fixtures, the Pocket Beam Q4 features a pan/tilt inversion mode for when multiple fixtures are being used in a master/slave configuration. This display inversion mode inverts the effects of selected fixtures to allow the easy creation of a synchronized built-in light show that looks highly professional.

Aside from its unique color beams, users can activate the Inno Pocket Beam Q4's pulse and strobe effects, at speeds ranging from slow to fast, to kick the party up a notch. DJs, in particular, can use these strobe and pulse effects to create a vibrant club atmosphere on the dance-floor; while for club and bar owners, strobing is vital -- especially at events catering to younger clientele. The pulse and strobe feature is also perfect for use on stage; adding dramatic power to performances.

"The Inno Pocket Beam Q4's compact but powerful 15W LED source, versatile movement and unique quad-color beam effects make it perfect for the challenges faced by mobile DJs, stage productions and club, bar or entertainment complex owners," said Alfred Gonzales, national sales manager for ADJ USA. "Just like its Pocket series counterparts, the Inno Pocket Beam Q4 is designed with portability in mind -- it's ideal for users that need a compact moving head beam effect as part of a transportable setup."

Simple but effective, users can operate the Inno Pocket Beam Q4 in any of three modes -- DMX controlled, sound active, and internal show. Operating the fixture in either of the latter two modes allows users to set the unit running all night if they like; moving through four equally effective built-in shows that produce varied effects. For more in-depth control, DMX mode harnesses greater creative potential, and with three DMX channel modes available -- 10, 11, and 13 -- users can produce their own customized light show.

Furthering the fixture's freedom of operation, ADJ's (separately sold) IC IR wireless remote gives users the convenience of wireless control; letting them select and adjust basic features of the Inno Pocket Beam Q4 -- such as full on/stand by, strobing, color change, sound active mode, and dimming -- from a far. This option is ideal for users, especially lighting designers and DJs, who may need to operate the fixtures from the back of a venue or from inside the booth.

Weighing in at just 7lb (3kg) and with dimensions of 6.25" x 5.75" x 10.5" (159mm x 147mm x 265mm), the Inno Pocket Beam Q4 is lightweight and compact, making it practical for DJs and entertainers on the move, as well as for small venues that require compact but powerful moving heads to integrate into a more extensive setup. Furthermore, each fixture only consumes 46W of power.

Boasting color variation and brightness thanks to its 15W quad-color LEDs, as well as endless creative potential offered by its flexible pan/tilt movement, the Inno Pocket Beam Q4 is a portable moving head beam solution that gives users professional results. Small but mighty, the company says it offers those working small to medium-sized venues a flexible, compact and powerful solution, all at a very affordable price.

The Inno Pocket Beam Q4 may also be purchase in a kit, called Pocket Beam Pak, that comprises of two Inno Pocket Beam Q4 Moving Heads plus one F4 Par Bag padded gig case. This kit is ideal for mobile performers who are looking for protecting while transporting, loading, and storing their moving heads. Plus, in a system of two fixtures, mobile performers can easily and affordably add onto their light show by buying more kits when needed.

The Inno Pocket Beam Q4 is available now from ADJ USA and ADJ Europe.
