"The JBL Control SB2210 is an update of our popular Control SB-210, offering a range of improvements all within the same compact dual 10" cabinet," said Rick Kamlet, senior manager, commercial loudspeakers, Harman Professional Solutions. The JBL Control SB2210 boasts a range of performance upgrades that allow it to provide truly powerful low frequency reinforcement. The subwoofer is an ideal complement to the recently updated control contractor surface-mount loudspeaker models -- the Control 23-1, 25-1, and 28-1. Power capacity for the JBL Control SB2210 has been increased to 500W, and it features a flatter frequency response with an improved bass extension to 38Hz, a combination that delivers solid sonic impact. The new 10" drivers' woven fiberglass cones deliver robust performance and the highly damped butyl rubber surround and linear suspension spider provide clean sound quality with low distortion. Installation options include floor placement, wall or ceiling attachment via an optional U-bracket, or suspension via 13 included M6 insert points. The cabinet is available in black or white and is paintable. "With higher power handling, flatter frequency response, extended bass response and a weather resistant cabinet," Kamlet said, "the Control SB2210 is without doubt one of the most versatile compact subwoofers for adding solid bass impact in installed sound applications."
