Tony Awards Winners Announced

The 69th Annual Tony Awards were held June 7, 2015. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and An American in Paris took home two Tonys each in the Design categories. For Curious Incident, Bunny Christie and Finn Ross won for Best Scenic Design for a Play, and Paule Constabile for Best Lighting Design for a Play. For An American in Paris, Bob Crowley and 59 Productions won for Best Scenic Design for a Musical and Natasha Katz for Best Lighting Design for a Musical.

Additional Design category winners include:

Best Costume Design for a Play
Christopher Oram, Wolf Hall, Parts 1 & 2

Best Costume Design for a Musical
Catherine Zuber, The King and I

In addition, Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre went to scenic artist Arnold Abramson and technician Gene O'Donovan.
