RCF DPS 604X -- Four-Channel Amplifier Is Now Shipping

RCF DPS 604X operational modes

RCF's DPS 604X is a four-channel class-D power amplifier with crossover designed for installed sound systems. It has four inputs and four outputs that could be combined in different configurations: a DIP switch on the rear panel allows to choose among eight operational modes, and easily adapt the system to the specific installation. The low distortion power output is up to 4x230W RMS (2ohm). Moreover, it has two variable hi-pass filters (on channels A and B) and a variable low-pass filter for subwoofers, with cutoff frequencies in the range from 50Hz to 250Hz. The audio wiring is fast and easy using Euroblock terminals. Full protection is available: short circuit, open circuit, thermal drift, ultrasonic, RF protection, reactive or mismatched loads, internal fuses.

Depending on the installation, the RCF DPS 604X can be configured in eight different operational modes from the multiple DIP Switch on the back panel. Four independent channels linked directly to the four inputs are the standard functioning mode, but it is possible to select seven different combinations with and without crossover, with linked, bridged channels, and an active configurable crossover with two independent hi-pass filters and a single lowpass for the subwoofer.

Features include:
* Fast response and low distortion
* Extensive protective circuits ensure high reliability and operating safety
* Level control for each channel on the front panel
* Signal and peak LED for each channel
* Suitable for rack installation (1U 19")
