Bandit Lites Promotes World Headquarters Staff

Brad Hylton, Alex Becker, and Giff Swart, Bandit Lites

Bandit Lites announces the promotions of multiple team members at its world headquarters including Giff Swart, Brad Hylton, and Alex Becker.

Swart has been named as client representative and production manager. Swart will oversee local work at the Knoxville, Tennessee location including numerous University of Tennessee events, more than 100 annual philanthropic endeavors and all events at the world class Blackberry Farm. Swart works daily with the team at Blackberry to assure the production quality is equal to that of the five-star food, beverage and hospitality service that Blackberry is known for globally.

"I have been at Bandit Lites for fifteen years in various roles," said Swart. "I started out in the back room repairing and building road cases, but over the years I have steadily taken on new and different responsibilities including project management, shipping and receiving duties, and eventually becoming the warehouse manager. I started taking on production management tasks for local shows and eventually became the point-of-contact for all of the local shows in Knoxville including Blackberry Farm. I enjoy my job very much and I respect and cherish my relationships with everyone at Bandit Lites and the clients I serve. Michael Strickland is a great boss to work for, and I truly appreciate all the opportunities he has given me to grow and excel in this business. I plan to keep going through my retirement with Bandit, and I want to help make the company even stronger than it already is."

"Giff is the most even tempered, friendly person you will ever meet," said Bandit chair Strickland. "His technical skills match his personality and his drive to produce events second to none is amazing. Every client he has ever worked with has requested him back and most would not know what to do without Giff. Thank you, sir."

Hylton has been promoted to facilities manager where he supervises the Knoxville facility and staff. With the Knoxville location recently being transformed into a sales and installation focused facility, Hylton will be responsible for all aspects of freight, sales inventory, coordination of project preps, and the upkeep and organization of the building.

"I'm thrilled to grow with Bandit Lites," said Hylton, who recently celebrated five years with Bandit. "I am fortunate to count myself as part of this team; what an amazing group of people to work with! I'm welcoming all challenges in my new role and I'm looking forward to doing my part in the continual growth and success of Bandit as a company."

"Brad has constantly shown a desire and ability to deliver only high-quality results, and that is exactly what the sales team needs to deliver the value-added services our clients deserve and demand," says Strickland." We all know that Brad will be a phenomenal leader and help to team achieve even greater levels of success and quality in the years to come."

Becker joined Bandit Lites three years ago prior to this promotion, and as a sales and production assistant, Becker will coordinate and prep gear for Bandit's countless sales projects, ensuring everything that leaves the shop is configured for the most efficient and organized install experience. Every piece of equipment is quality controlled at Bandit, labeled, tested, and shipped to site ready to plug and play. Becker's role is vital to the value-added proposition at Bandit.

"With our sales division growing at such an extraordinary rate, it is paramount that our team rises to the occasion," said Chris Barbee, Bandit Lites vice president of sales and integration. "Alex has proven to be an invaluable asset and I'm confident that he'll continue to thrive in this new role."

"I am very excited to embark upon this new position," Becker said. "I'm looking forward to this opportunity to continue to grow and be challenged working at Bandit. I cannot wait to bring my expertise and knowledge from the production side of things to the sales team to continue the department's success and growth."
