Obsidian Unveils NX W, NETRON Innovations and More at PLASA 2025Obsidian Control Systems, paired with distributor Live Technology, will show its latest products at The PLASA Show, September 7 to 9 at Olympia London (Stand C22). Obsidian will feature the new NX W, a portable and full-featured PC control wing designed to deliver professional-grade ONYX operation via USB-C. Its key features include ten motorized faders with RGB backlight, low-latency optical buttons with RGB backlight, programming keypad plus ten multi-function buttons. Four RGB parameter encoders, four integrated DMX/RDM ports, a gigabit network port, and a 16-universe ONYX license (Upgradeable to 32, 64, and 128 via USB License Port) Obsidian's NETRON data distribution range includes the world's first IP66-rated signal devices for entertainment environments. Available are a six-port EtherDMX Node (EN6 IP), a six-port DMX/RDM Splitter (RDM6 IP), and an eight-port managed POE switch (NS8 IP). NETRON also offers a comprehensive line of products tailored for system integrators and fixed installations. The lineup consists of EtherDMX nodes, RDM/DMX splitters, and network switches -- offering reliable and flexible data distribution for any project, the company says. Visitors will also be able to check out the latest features of ONYX 4.32, the latest iteration of Obsidian's lighting control software for NX consoles and PC systems.
