Chauvet Launches WELL, New LED Luminaire

Chauvet, a leading manufacturer of LED lighting, announces a new Wireless Event LED Luminaire, called WELL for short. WELL is specifically designed to uplight walls and foliage at a corporate event, nestle it in the bottom of a piece of truss for warming, or light the runway during a fashion show.

Each WELL is powered by a 12V battery and runs run wire-free for up to 12 hours. Also available is a six-slot road case which doubles as a gang charger for all the units. Simply place six WELL fixtures into its case, plug directly into the wall and charge all the units at one time.

Inside each WELL are twelve 3W tri-color LEDS for color mixing without any multi-colored shadows. For control, standard DMX ports are available, as well as a Wireless Solution WDMX receiver-simply plug a transmitter (sold separately) into your controller and go.

Focusing is accomplished two different ways. The split LED plane can be precisely angled using the adjustment screws on the outside of the fixture. For instance you can wash two different areas on the same wall with one uplight. For a more dramatic adjustment, a ratcheting foot can be extended to tip the fixture several degrees in a desired direction without compromising stability.
