Apollo Design Announces New Hire Ready to Serve Customers

Apollo Design Technology, Inc. announces the appointments of Zachary Howard, Josie Marchetti, Chuck Parent, and Ryan Wolfe.

Joel Nichols, chief innovation officer for Apollo, announces, "We are pleased to introduce to you to our newest team members. Their work ethic and combined skills are exactly what we need to serve our customers."

Howard is mechanical engineer for AVID Labs, a sister company to Apollo Design. Before joining AVID, he worked as mechanical engineer in the aviation and aerospace industry for Electroimpact in Mukilteo, Washington. A graduate of the University of Idaho, he holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering. He graduated from Middleton High School.

"Zach worked on large assembly equipment for Boeing aircraft wings," states Bob Kartman, engineering manager for AVID Labs. "He jumped right into new product design here and was immersed in our largest project to date and has excelled in developing a cooling system design for the product. He has a passion for rapid prototyping/3D printing and has become the lead engineer to develop AVID's 3D printing expertise."

Marchetti is a laser operator for Apollo. She graduated from Southwood Senior High School in Wabash, Indiana. Before finding Apollo, she held positions at Anthony's Pets and BubbaLouie's at the Gables, both in Bloomington, Indiana.

"We are thrilled to have Josie join our team of professionals in production," states Keersten Nichols, president of Apollo. "She has an incredible work ethic and attention to detail that will allow us to produce products with the utmost precision and accuracy. She is creative at problem-solving and has a true customer service mentality that plays to Apollo's strengths."

Parent serves as electrical engineering Technician for AVID Labs. He previously worked at Franklin Electric, and Exelis in the Geospatial and Communication Divisions, where he received achievement awards for excellence and dedication. He graduated from Elmhurst High School, Fort Wayne, and ITT Technical Institute with an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology.

"Immediately immersed in one of our most significant development projects for a major client, Chuck has been able to apply his years of experience to help AVID meet their customer commitments efficiently," Kartman continues, "He's a great addition to the team!"

Wolfe recently joined Apollo as assembly technician. Waterfurnace International previously employed him. Wolfe graduate of Snider High School, Fort Wayne, and is a student at Indiana Tech for Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering.

Dave Stauss, assembly supervisor, comments, "Ryan has been an excellent addition to the assembly team. His great attitude, along with his experience, ideas, and good work ethic make it a pleasure to work with him."
