Staging Concepts Introduces the Truss Platform

Staging Concepts, a custom staging solutions company, introduces the latest in durable, longstanding staging equipment: The Truss Platform.

The Truss Platform is constructed with a steel structure and design, making it a strong, rigid product that is built to last, the company says. The Truss Platform is constructed with 1" thick marine grade plywood substrate containing virtually zero voids. This product is available in standard and custom sizes for both indoor and outdoor use. The Truss Platform meets 150lb per sq. ft. of uniformly distributed live load.

"As a custom supplier of staging equipment, we are excited to provide our customers the option of a steel Truss Platform. Several clients like the look of the Truss Platform along with the rigidity that steel provides. We now offer the widest range of staging platform choices so we can provide solutions that best meet our customer's needs," says Bob Randall, vice president of Staging Concepts. The Truss Platform is a perfect solution for performance stages, orchestra pit fillers, and stage traps, and can be utilized for a variety of applications.

As with most Staging Concepts products, ease of use and efficiency are put first. The Truss Platform can be easily handled by two people, and the product only needs support in four corners for quick setup.

Compatible with Staging Concepts' bridging understructure, Relia Beam, or legs, the Truss Platform is well-suited for nearly any application, the company says. A full line of surface options are available, such as polyvinyl, carpet, plyron, or plywood. The Truss Platform comes with a Class A fire rating provided by an aluminum skin backer, when a polyvinyl surface is incorporated.
