EXPO-SCENE Set April Dates

"EXPO-SCENE offers Canadians a unique opportunity to explore, learn, and connect with the best in the industry without having to travel overseas or across the border."

Presented by the Canadian Institute for Theatre Technology/Institut canadien des technologies scenographiques (CITT/ICTS], the trade show EXPO-SCENE 2026 will take place April 15 and 16 at the Palais des congres de Montreal, Quebec.

The 2025 edition welcomed a record number of visitors, featured a sold-out show floor, and saw a significant increase in attendance from the US.

In a statement, the show's organizers say, "Behind its success lies a friendly, collaborative spirit, and attendees often describe EXPO-SCENE as more than just a trade show; it's a community gathering where professionals of all backgrounds exchange ideas, discover new products, and build long-lasting partnerships in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

"EXPO-SCENE offers Canadians a unique opportunity to explore, learn, and connect with the best in the industry without having to travel overseas or across the border. A staple for theatre, concert, and live event professionals, its offerings are also relevant to houses of worship, recording studios, broadcast installations, museums, and more."

Market sectors covered include pro audio and sound, pro lighting, special effects, stage equipment, rigging, AV, multimedia, video, broadcast, wireless networks, intercoms, systems integration, business and event solutions, health and safety, and more.

In addition to the trade show, visitors can attend demo rooms, TEC Talks, and pre-show training sessions.

The organizers add, "Beyond the exhibition halls, Montreal itself adds a special dimension to the EXPO-SCENE experience. As the second-largest French-speaking city in the world after Paris, Montreal blends European charm with North American creativity. Its Old Port and historic architecture provide the perfect setting for inspiration and reflection, while its culinary scene, vibrant arts culture, and warm hospitality make every visit memorable. The Palais des congres de Montréal, where EXPO-SCENE takes place, is located in the heart of Old Montreal, just steps away from the city's waterfront, restaurants, and cultural attractions. It's an ideal venue for attendees to mix business with pleasure, explore new technologies, and enjoy one of Canada's most dynamic cities."

Visitor registration is now open; a free Visitor's Badge provides full access to both days of the show, the demo rooms, and the TEC Talks, and it is necessary to access pre-show training.

For booth reservation information and inquiries, visit the website and contact EXPO-SCENE before November 30 to benefit from the early bird rate. EXPO-SCENE
