Avolites Celebrates the Avolife at LDI UK lighting and visual control manufacturer Avolites, a Robe business, exhibited at LDI, showcasing its new and portable D3 series of control consoles, together with other products. The first two days in particular attracted an array of high-value B2C clients, reports Avolites North America product specialist, Brad White. Avolites continues to develop its Diamond collection, a product line that covers anything from the smallest shows and most expedient budgets to stadium-sized productions, all with the advantage of a single learning curve, thanks to the consoles being powered by Titan software architecture. The D7 series was shown. The full product range now being available in black is also having a positive impact, particularly with those using competitor brands, confirms Sarah O'Gorman, UK and Ireland territory manager and product specialist at Avolites UK, who was one of the international team in attendance. The latest Titan V19.0 software was running all consoles on the stand, supporting "Record from input via sACN," "Freely assignable universes," "Release to quick palette," and 50 other improvements and changes, including Capture 2024, Avo's updated internal visualizer. "People are already appreciating and enjoying the new features," notes Kully Dhesi, head of service and support for Avolites in the UK. White believes that LDI 2025 was a crucial platform for showcasing the D3 series and launching Titan V19.0. With consoles being such a hands-on and personal experience, "trade shows are a great place to get many customers in front of the products, so they can make real and direct comparisons with competitors," he says, adding that when end-users can feel the quality, depth and general ease of use in an Avolites product for themselves, "that is where we shine!" Given the US market's significant impact on global purchasing decisions and industry directions and trends, "it was imperative to be at the show with a strong presence," he notes. Visitors to the booth included many production and lighting designers, business owners and managers, systems integrators, and console users from multiple sectors.
