Stampede Kicks Off the 2018 North American Big Book of AV Tour on February 22nd in Denver

With an ever-growing list of local resources, an already existing talented and highly-educated workforce, and an innovative economy attracting the energy of outsiders, Denver, Colorado, has succeeded in building a vibrant, strong, and growing technology community. Recognizing the growth potential in the area and the opportunity that it presents to the commercial AV community, Stampede, the global leader of value-added distribution, is making the city the first stop of its 2018 North American Big Book of AV Tour & Conference series on February 22nd.

The day-long event will be held at the Denver Marriott Tech Center (4900 South Syracuse Street Denver, Colorado 80237) from 9:00am - 2:00pm. Attendee registration is now open at http://plasa.me/u64ru.

"As one of the fastest-growing major cities in the US, Denver is a great place to kick off our 2018 Big Book of AV Tour & Conference Series," Stampede president and COO Kevin Kelly said. "In just a few short years, the city has succeeded in making a name for itself in the technology community. Its growing population of new workers, record number of new business filings, and immense space to build, make it an attractive destination for startups, and a vital stop on our Big Book of AV Tour. We look forward to engaging with the tech community there and providing resellers and customers with the opportunity to experience the latest innovations."

The day will begin at 9:00am with a dealer panel discussion, followed by the Tech Showcase Exhibit where attendees and manufacturers will meet one-on-one to discuss the latest products, systems, and services. A complimentary breakfast will also be served during the showcase.

Open throughout the day is The Samsung Experience Demo Room, which is designed to ask the question we all ask each and every day: What does the future look like? Samsung Electronics understands that the future holds endless potential and exciting possibilities. At Samsung, the future is now, and it comes to life through a range of innovative display solutions. Displays tell our stories, amplify ideas, and improve life. We have the power to turn vision into reality, showcase a world of action, and shape the future. Guided tours will begin at 10:00am and will occur every 30 minutes for the duration of the event.

The day will also feature a series of on-site presentations that include: Overview of the Drone/UAS Industry and Business Potential and Drone Video Systems: A New AV Category for a New Age of Opportunities, both of which will be led by dean of the school of flight training at Unmanned Vehicle University, Paul Dragos. Additional presentations include: NEC 10 Steps to a Successful Video Wall and Samsung All-in-One e-Board Solutions.

Each event includes an information-rich schedule of exhibits, training sessions, product introductions, and networking opportunities. Participating exhibitors on the Stampede Big Book of AV Tour & Conference Series include AEE, Atlona, AVTEQ, Casio, Chief, Christie, dji, Display Ten, Epson, FireFX, Hitachi, HuddleCamHD, Jelco, Just Lamps, Ken-a-Vision, LG Business Solutions, Luidia, Lumens, Luxul, Mustang, NEC, Oklahoma Sound, Optoma, Peerless, Philips, Planar, Premier Mounts, Samsung, Sharp, Stampede University, Stewart Filmscreen, TAG Global Systems, TAP-it, TSI Touch, Unmanned Vehicle University, wePresent, Wilson Pro, Yamaha Commercial Audio, Vidyo, and Draper.
