PK Sound Adds Hi, Society as Latest Robotic System Partner in Western Canada

PK Soundhas expanded its longstanding partnership with Kamloops, B.C.-based Hi, Society Entertainment following the latter's investment in a T8 robotic line source system. A longtime supporter of PK Sound throughout Western Canada, Hi, Society has taken its first step into the company's patented robotic line source technology, with the goal of further strengthening its ability to deliver premium live sound experiences across the region.

Hi, Society's investment comprises 12 T8 compact robotic line source modules, which will augment the company's existing PK Sound inventory and pair seamlessly with its complement of G218 subwoofers.

Featuring PK Sound's patented Multi-Axis Robotics, T8 enables precise remote and real-time mechanical control of both vertical and horizontal coverage to tailor acoustic performance to virtually any environment while improving consistency, reducing unwanted reflections, and maximizing impact. It also enables significantly faster and safer system deployments, with fewer technicians required, the company says.
